Abstract:

Business model innovation is often related to the internal structure change of an enterprise. While some enterprise finds incorporating innovative business model and making changes according to the market is good for the business, it is sometimes difficult for the internal structure of the company to be flexible to accommodate changes. In this study, we selected seven control variables that may affect strategic changes within an enterprise in order to find out how business model innovation could affect strategic flexibility.

The article is about a study that is designed to discover the relationship between a potential business model innovation and the strategic changes within the company. The article supports my argument because it selected seven factors that may affect the strategic flexibility within a firm, which could help me to analyze what aspect to focus on during the enterprise’s reorganization and restructure process. The most important aspect of the article is the selection process of the seven factors because all seven factors were carefully examined and analyzed before they are included in the study and it helps me to filter out what is needed for my argument. Through the study, the author found that both formal and informal reorganization need to be considered if the enterprise were to embrace a new technological innovation. In conclusion, technology innovation should be taken into consideration in the redesign process of a company’s strategies.
