A Study of the Opportunity and Development on the Real Estate Industry in Shanghai Abstract Real estate industry is a new growth area of the national economy due to the country’s liberalization of government controls and rapid development. However, compared with other developed markets, China's real estate industry is less experienced and immature. And after accessing to WTO, china had directly faced international competition. Shanghai, as one of China's economic powerhouses, has set new records for real estate investment, scale of housing construction and house sales, according to the city's housing, land and resources administration. The research is done in the real estate industry in Shanghai. In this dissertation, three real estate companies in Shanghai have been studied in order to get a main sketch of the real estate industry in Shanghai. In this study, quantitative data research is used. And which item is the most significant to influence marketing strategies of real estate industry and other research problems could be easily found through quantitative and data research. Executive Summary With deepening of the reform, and opening up and continued growth of national economy, people’s income has been rising day by day, and housing consumption has become a hot point, real estate industry is a new growth area of the national economy due to the country’s liberalization of government controls and rapid development, But compared with U.S. and other developed markets, China's real estate industry is less experienced and immature. And after accessing to WTO, china had directly faced international competition. The research is done in the real estate industry in Shanghai In literature review, the contents are competition, the competition part includes the competition and strategy and Porter’s five forces, the corporate real estate management, Consumer Buying Behavior, the theoretical bases of market segmentation, marketing theory and microeconomic theory.
