本文主要有两个重点：①回顾C&C和C&E essay结构；②如何在essay开头写好hook，一起来看看吧。
Compare&Contrast essay结构
Introduction
1.General statement：即写作背景;
2.Hook：吸引读者眼球，激发阅读兴趣的部分。可以使用疑问句，引用的数据，使文章更具吸引力;
3.Thesis statement:需点明每段中心词（通常3个main points)
Body paragraph
1.每段开头都要有介绍Topic的语句
2.每段都要有differences和similarities
用support&evidence支持观点(数据，名人名言，背景知识等）
3.通常使用的引出引用的词：From the examining findings；in light of the evidence；From previous research；Considering the results；According to the figures.
4.多用连接词：in addition，moreover，subsequently，equally important，hence，nevertheless，for all that，first and foremost……
5.有且仅有一个观点（与开头topic相对应的）
Conclusion
①结尾要重申三个中心观点
②常用总结词：In summary，to sum up,on the whole,in conclusion……
③不能再出现新的观点
Tips
1.使用第三人称（即不能出现In my opinion，from my perspective这种表达个人观点的句子）
2.格式：12font，Time New Roman；题目作者班级居中写在最前，一倍间距；正文二倍间距；逗号空一格，句号空两格
3.在最后一页单列出所有的references，复制链接时使用APA格式。
4.避免断句（Fragment）和不停顿即应用逗号隔开而没有隔开的的句子（Run—on sentences）
5.引用必须写出来源，否则就是抄袭。引用形式分为直接引用和间接引用
6.表不可数名词的数量词；some,a lot of,much,a bit of,a great deal of，a cup of,a bag of,1kg of,1L of,a handful of,a pinch of,an hour of,a day of.

1.Thesis sentences are at the beginning of each paragraph(should be a long sentence)
