In this final unit we will conduct a similar experiment, but with a key difference: You'll be assessing your own work and the connections you have made, while discussing your work in English1003.THE PROJECTOPTION A: For Option A your assignment is to trace a trend through all of your main papers (a specific aspect of writing such as argument, theme, style of writing, etc., or a specific subject you've dealt with consistently) and chart how this trend

developed. Fo instance, you could discuss understandings of popular culture, style, genre, rhetoric.identity, philosophy, etc...Focus on your own writing and the connections you've made throughout this semester and how your work has reflected your understandingsOPTION B: Option B calls for a more general "tour" through your work, charting your development as a writer through a close reading of the style, technique, and analytical work of your papers. You've been asked to write focused, complex work. Analyze the way you've dealt with these texts in your papers. Write about your own writing the way you've written about these texts. Take your writing apart and show the reader how it has worked in each of your papers. In general, tell the reader a story about your work, what has changed in vour writing or how each paper has built upon the previous work.THINGS TO REMEMBER- Be sure to actively use the texts - quote your own work often and remember to always properly cite any use of texts.
