Whatever Enron is only a matter of history, or a lesson. We all should know that the importance of ethics in our personal life and work. Having ethics is more about what we do instead of what has been said or our intentions. They should be the backbone of industry, but we know they are not. No matter who the company is, ethics plays a role whether superb or terrible. A person or company will face hardships and barriers even when making compelling choices. Just knowing ethically and morally the right thing is being done still can be hard. That is how taking the easy way out becomes vivid.
