1.Read the 3 articles about the Academic Integrity issue at Harvard University in the Thinking Critically textbook pages 3-14.
2.Look for an idea that is repeated in the 3 articles (example: cheating, collaboration, take-home exam).
3.How do the authors in reading 2 (Manjoo) and reading 3 (Salerno) treat this idea? What is their opinion about the idea in relation to the academic integrity issue at Harvard.
Choose a common idea that each author discusses in their articles to focus on in your response paper.

4.Write your overall introduction
Summarize (explain) the details about the academic integrity issue that happened at Harvard. How would you tell someone about what happened at Harvard?
5.Write your response (just as practiced in class).
Write an introduction for Manjoo’s article (Reading 2). Include the author’s name, title, and main idea.
Identify the specific idea quoted or paraphrased, that you will discuss and respond to. Paraphrase the meaning of the idea in the quote or paraphrase in your own words.
Write your response, reaction, or opinion to the author’s idea, in the article. Don’t just say you agree or disagree. Explain why and with examples. Use personal experiences, observations of society, things that surprise you, applications, etc…
6.Do the same for Salerno’s article focus on the same idea discussed in Manjoo’s article.
