The case is "Corporate Culture at Agrium Inc."

The guiding questions are: As discussed in-class, do not answer these questions specifically - follow the case format in preparing and presenting the case.  However, these questions should be answered (somewhere) in your analysis.
1) What has been the principal driver of growth in the industry?
2) How has Agrium structured its business?
3) What have been the advantages and disadvantages of how Agrium has organized its business over the last 20 years?
4) From a financial perspective, has Agrium been successful?

A case report is 2500 words maximum with 2 supporting appendices. Submitted in Word format. Single or double spaced - 12 point font.
 
PREPARATION
To prepare for a case:
- Read the case
- review the guiding questions (DO NOT ANSWER THE ABOVE QUESTIONS - FOLLOW THE CASE FORMAT).
Then begin your detailed analysis:
- Who is the decision maker in this case, and what are their position and responsibilities?
- What is the issue/opportunity and how important is it to the organization?  Why has it happened? How urgent?
When drafting your submission - ensure you follow this process:(结构,步骤)

1) Opening paragraph introduces the situation and provides a very brief (one paragraph) background information.
2) The specific problem or decision(s) to be made and any sub-issues
3) Analysis - environmental, industry, market, company - use the analytical tools - justify why you chose these tools and what they told you.
Turn facts into insights!  Company analysis includes all available facts in the case - finance, marketing, HR, operations - when relevant.
4) Alternatives open to the decision maker, which may or may not be stated in the case - pros and cons of each
5) Recommendation - decision criteria (why you chose it!)  Ensure it addresses the problem you identified.
6) Implementation plan - outcomes.
7) Conclusion sets up the task, any constraints or limitations, and the urgency of the situation. Include any assumptions you made.
